![]() I thought they were very comfortable and I liked the side silicone grips and the ear pad cushions were quite comfortable.īut some people didn’t like it and it seems like something that needs to be mentioned, so I’m telling you about it right now just to keep everything on the up and up. And they really didn’t like the way the headphones fit either. I didn’t personally experience this at all, but others said that they weren’t very fond of the way the headset is designed. I only tend to use it for videogame playing and video chat, but it’s nice to know that I have the option to use it in a professional setting if that’s something I’d ever want or need to do. I can talk into this microphone and it literally sounds like I’m using very expensive professional audio equipment. The clear cast microphone is also another studio quality feature that I am truly appreciative of. It literally feels like I’m living inside the game when I have these headphones on and the beautiful surround sound audio is pumping into my eardrums. They work so well when I’m gaming and playing first-person shooters and role-playing games because the intense audio makes the games so much more fun and enjoyable. The LED lights on the earcups are controlled separately by a USB connection, which unfortunately is too short unless you’re working on a PC. The metal cylinders on the sides allow for adjustment of different head sizes, and the headband has a comfortable cushiness. ![]() The build is sturdy, implying a certain amount of durability (especially if you’re concerned about them being handled by less-than-gentle youthful hands). Clear chat is super important if you’re in the middle of serious team play, or just talking to your other half, or your boss… the flexible mic on these Bengoo gives you that. The noise-canceling on the mic is another bonus. If you want to immerse, just knock up the volume a bit to counter the outside. Noise isolation works fairly well though some external sounds still bleed in. The 4 drivers do their job in delivering frequencies from the lows to the highs. Music and movie sounds are clear, just try not to maximize the headset volume. That’s like having 4 speakers as sound sources, instead of the usual 2.Īpparently good, since the surround sound works well, lending a fair amount of positional audio to help you figure out the direction of the action. The Bengoo G9000 headsets come with 30mm and 40mm drivers in each earpiece, which means you get 2 extra drivers compared to many other headsets. ❌ What we don’t like: The USB cable for the lights is too short ✔️ What we like: Sturdy build and sound quality for the price So what makes these headsets a little different than the others in its price range?
